Road to Nowhere
This is not first time of such situation has happened but surely, one of most drastic. Person do start to ask himself, where were people, social assistance from government, church, God?
Folks are occupied with themselves, daily life. Administration is busy with making money and gets interested with tax-payer only before elections. Church, well funny thing about church…collecting plates, remedial talks, help to ill and needy yet nothing is being put into practice…nothing’s for free. One well know prelate in my country for instance, is advertising water in TV, sells wine branded with own name, thinks of own cellular network and opening numerous clubs and cafés, bought apartment for own use for 300000 €, drives mercedes S, BMW 7 and my fev- maybach!!! Very decent and modest lifestyle especially as for servant of Church, that surely helps to overcome poverty and brings believers closer to God.
Oh yes, and what about God? Well Almighty isn’t to interfere or influence, but watch. At times He seems to be absentee landlord but may be it’s on purpose…sometimes best view of God is from hell…
I don’t think story I brought up is reflection of only polish insensibility, though Poles among themselves know about own inclination to callousness and rather self-centered attitude. Everywhere people do suffer and need help though not always seek for it…thing is, just to get to them, reach out with helping hand first, not for God or others to see, but own satisfaction…
I do fear posibility of something like that or very similar, to ever happen to me, my family or people I care about. Fate is inscrutable to all, destiny can be tricky, and everything lies in margin of possibility so why not…no, I’m not whining just wondering where this world is going to…

Really well written Amina!
I’ve been following your words since some time now, though I might not have always left a comment, but I’m truly inspired with your attitude and thoughts. You dare to speak your mind, you stand for values and virtue and manage to stay open minded. I don’t think there are many people quite like you. Don’t you ever change Amina!
thank you for very nice words…you are too kind really!!!
I am sure there are many people like or even better than me, just not always we get chance to know them
take care
p.s. I don’t intent to change…unless for better :p
Nice thoughts AMINA and realistic look at Destiny and Fate and God himself being an absentee landlord.
