Yaum Al Jummu’ah and Yaum Ar-Raza Mubarak

This is to wish one and all Jummu’ah Mubarak as well as the Yaum Ar-Raza mubarak.

Yaum Al Jummu’ah is self explanatory while some may be wondering what is Yaum Ar-Raza.

Yaum Ar-Raza is the day that the great Reviver (Al Mujaddid),Imam Ahmad Raza Khan (May Allah Almighty’s pleasure be upon Him)was born.It is a day that one should spend in thoughts of the selfless struggle that the Mujaddid spent his days in, in reviving and serving the deen of the Messenger of Allah (Blessings and peace be upon Him and his Noble family).

Below is an extract that very briefly summarizes a simple introduction to Imam Ahmad Raza Khan.

Shaykh al-Islam wa’l Muslimin Imam Ahlus Sunnah A’lahadrat Imam Ahmad Rida Khan al-Qadri [d. 1921 AH] was an ocean of knowledge and wisdom. He had skill and mastery over a hundred different sciences of nowledge and was well-versed in all of them. Seeing his extraordinary command over these subjects and his undeniable research and painstaking efforts in digging out gems from the ocean of knowledge of and wisdom, the age had saluted him and had extolled him as its Imam and Mujaddid.

For the sake of rectifying and correcting beliefs and actions he had authored more than a thousand books. Till present day, his highly esteemed personality, his unique life and his matchless works are being studied in the colleges and universities worldwide and the intellectuals are carrying out MAs and PHDs on such diverse aspects of this illustrious figure in Islam.

Without a shadow of doubt, Imam Ahmad Rida Khan was entrusted to this Ummah as a trust and he was a miracle of the Beloved Messenger (Blessings and peace be upon Him and his Noble family.
